April 23, 2018
For information on the study, please read the ADA Morning Huddle email, sent on April 20,2018 (link not available). The NJDA & ADA are setting a national example on curtailing opioid abuse. Two years ago the NJDA became the first health association to embrace a policy of prescribing opioids and other Schedule II drugs at the lowest dosage for shortest duration as well as recommend using an informed consent form when prescribing these drugs. As a national leader in on opioid reduction and usage, the NJDA leadership urged a change in ADA policy, along with others, to set a national example in this subject area. We urge all members to register for the NJDA's continuing education program on this subject area held during this year's Annual Session at the Newark Liberty Airport Marriott on May 17-19th.
