At its public session meeting on April 4, 2018, the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry:

- Clarified that Licensed Dental Hygienists and Registered Dental Assistants can apply Silver Diamine Fluoride.
- Expressed its intention to require dental offices, facilities, clinics and institutions at which there is patient contact to submit a copy of its written emergency protocol when submitting an incident report to the Board. To obtain a template of the protocol, Click Here.
