Dr. Jamie Diament-Golub Recognized By Bergen County Dental Society
The NJDA House of Delegates meeting featured the announcement of the inaugural class of NJDA Member Recognition Award Recipients. This is a group of member-dentists who have gone above and beyond and warranted acknowledgment and praise from their colleagues. Each month we will highlight a different recipient to publicly thank them and share their story with all NJDA members. The next member-dentist we’re spotlighting from the 2024 Member Recognition Awards is Dr. Jamie Diament-Golub from the Bergen County Dental Society.
One aspect of Dr. Diament-Golub’s career in dentistry that immediately stands out is her exceptional volunteerism. Her greatest passion is bringing pediatric dental health to children in impoverished third world countries. She has volunteered with over 40 dental outreach trips, including Cambodia, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mongolia, South Africa, Morocco, Nepal, Costa Rica, and Cabo Verde.
Dr. Diament-Golub was awarded the “Health Care Professional of the Year” by the Center for Outreach and Services for the Autism Community (COSAC) in New Jersey for her work with children who have sensory issues, ranging from children with mild hypersensitivities to children with severe autism. She has also been awarded the “International Volunteer Service Award” by the ADA several times throughout her career, recognizing her volunteer efforts to improve the oral health of individuals throughout the world.
