Dr. Rui Seu Recognized By Central Dental Society
The NJDA House of Delegates meeting on June 5 featured the announcement of the inaugural class of NJDA Member Recognition Award Recipients. This is a group of member-dentists who have gone above and beyond and warranted acknowledgment and praise from their colleagues. Each month we will highlight a different recipient to publicly thank them and share their story with all NJDA members. The first member-dentist we’re spotlighting from the 2024 Member Recognition Awards is Dr. Rui Seu from the Central Dental Society.
When Dr. Seu became a member of the Central Dental Society, he was coming in at a time when the component was hurting for volunteers. He was active with the component almost immediately, volunteering early and taking on several jobs, such as Membership Chair and President-Elect.
According to his colleagues at the CDS, Dr. Seu is very conscientious, puts his heart into his volunteerism, and takes the work very seriously. Not to mention, he is "one of the nicest guys!" When asked for comment, Dr. Seu said "It's been an honor, and I am grateful to be acknowledged for the work."
Dr. Seu graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1994. He completed a 2-year GPR at Brookdale Hospital in 1996 and has been in private practice since then.
