In recognition of the serious potential health hazard posed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the need to take bold action to contain its spread, on Monday, March 16, 2020, the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Dental Association approved the following statement:

The New Jersey Dental Association strongly recommends that dentists practicing in New Jersey voluntarily suspend nonessential or nonurgent dental care for the next 14 days.

This is an extremely fluid situation and will be monitored and assessed on a daily basis.
