Helping Members Succeed

The New Jersey Dental Association is the voice of the dental profession and a strong proponent of oral health in the state. Members are part of a vibrant community of dentists encompassing 12 local dental societies as well as the American Dental Association. Members engage in educational programs, have access to dentist-centric relationships and tools to navigate the business of dentistry and their careers, as well as benefit from dedicated advocacy that protects the interests of the profession. The organization is run by member-dentists with the support of a team of professionals at NJDA Headquarters. NJDA members never practice alone!

Tech Upgrade Happening September 3-9

ADA and NJDA are transitioning the member database, and as a result, a small amount of services will be impacted at some point during the upgrade. Registration for numerous NJDA programs and events will be available without interruption. See the full list below.

The ADA and NJDA are upgrading their technology and will be transitioning the member database from September 3-9. Outlined below is the timeline for when members will or will not have access to certain sites and platforms.

From Sept. 3-9, members may continue to log in to ADA sites, the ADA Member App and state and local sites on the ADA web platform. They will be able to access resources, downloads and CE that has already been purchased.

However, during this time:

• Account updates and event registrations through ada.org will be unavailable

• The delivery of new products and services may experience delays; ADA Store will be offline for part of this week.

The ADA Member App will be offline for a brief period beginning September 10, while the new app release awaits approval from Apple/Android.

• Registration for the following NJDA events WILL BE AVAILABLE:

- NJDA Licensure Requirements Series (5 courses in September)

- Elevate Workshop Series (courses monthly Sept-Dec)

- New Dentist Meet Ups

- New Dentist Happy Hour on September 26

- Monthly CPR Training at NJDA Headquarters

- Lunch Sessions (2 free programs in October)

- Preparing for Practice Ownership Seminar on October 10
