SMILES FOR OUR HEROES
Give Kids A Smile Day is a national program supported by the ADA and locally by the NJDA. On the first Friday in February, volunteers in the dental community open their hearts and doors to provide free dental care to children who could not otherwise afford dental services.
Share a Smile is searching for pediatric dentists who are willing to provide comprehensive care for at least ONE patient at no charge during February-May 2021. This program is supported by the NJ Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and NJ Hygiene Program.
The “Veterans Smile Day” mission is to provide free dental care and support to our military veterans as our small way of thanking them for their service. Our hope is that in the process, veteran’s will find a permanent dental home for themselves and their families.
Smiles For Our Heroes is a two-day event providing free dental care to eligible vets and their families. This program is sponsored by Zufall Health, Delta Dental of NJ, and the NJDA. The week-end brings together volunteer dental professionals who perform dental services ranging from cleanings to extractions and dentures.

The NJDA and the ADA are proud to support this program spearheaded by our strategic partner Dental Lifeline Network (DLN). As a member of our community, please consider volunteering and donate comprehensive treatment to at least one patient with special needs each year. Volunteering is easy and the patients come to your office.
The NJDA Senior-Dent Program operates to increase the access of Senior Citizens to dental care in NJ and has been a well-utilized and successful program since its inception. A participating dentist must offer an eligible patient a minimum courtesy reduction of 15% from the standard fee charged on all dental services.
Many conditions, ailments and diseases leave patients unable to leave their homes to be driven to a dental office, but still need dental care. If you are able to provide in home dental care please submit your information through our registration form and you will be added to our Homebound Visiting Dentist List.
