Toss the Narratives & Avoid an Audit

Course Description:
Carriers prefer your clinical notes over narratives when reviewing documentation. What seems like a small change can have a large impact on your office. Your clinical records should be as complete as possible in order to avoid scrutiny and state board or carrier audits. This is an ongoing team effort. We’ll review best practices for clinical notes and why I’m more worried about lawyers than carriers. As always, Q&A follows our discussion.
